WE DID IT! Our partnership with Grand Traverse Pipes & Drums, has yielded us Grade V Champion Supreme honors! For 3 years! Champion Supreme goes to the band with the overall points total for MWPBA events.  Come be a part of it!

Motor City Pipes & Drums was founded in the fall of 2017 by a few seasoned pipers and drummers with the goal of becoming a skilled competition band. Our mission is to carry on the tradition of our mentor, the late Pipe Major William O’Donnell, who inspired us to be the best we could be, while sharing the love of Scottish music and the bagpipe, in a family-friendly atmosphere. 

Our ranks continue to grow and we are in the process of recruiting skilled pipers and drummers in order to put together a winning band for next season and beyond.   Practices are held in Troy, Michigan weekly on Monday nights.
